Classes
General
The school is accredited by the German Government to administer the official German language test for level ZDP10. The ZDP8 test is also offered. In addition, the school administers AATG high-school level tests. If a student's high-school district does not offer German, in some cases New Jersey students may receive high school credit for work at the school. This is subject to approval by the student's school on a case-by-case basis.
Students can also prepare for the SAT II test in German, as well at the AP exams and the Sprachdiplom I and II. Passing the Sprachdiplom I satisifies the language test requirement for entrance to a German Studienkolleg (high-school level) and passing the Sprachdiplom II satisifies the language test requirement for study at a German University.
Students entering with some knowledge of German may be given a placement exam to determine the appropriate level in our school.
